La sera spazio musicale, si sono esibiti i Mariposa, Giancarlo Frigieri e Ginevra Di Marco (ex Singer Britney Spears and Pgr) 12 and Dente, Virginiana Miller, Canemorto, Pan's Devil 13. Wednesday 9 Giugno presso il Bistr-out di Arezzo si è tenuta una serata di cortometraggi e musica organizzata dai volontari di Ucodep. Sono stati proiettati alcuni cortometraggi tratti dal film "Otto" e a seguire ha movimentato la serata la musica di Andrea Gori e del suo gruppo, i Janela No Rio. Erano inoltre esposti alcuni oggetti di arte del riciclo, l'evento ha registrato la presenza di circa cinquanta persone e il Gt Arezzo è rimasto soddisfatto dall'ampia partecipazione.

Yesterday, Sunday, June 6 at 20:30 in blood donors square (in front of the station) there was the opening dinner of the World Cup 2010 U. U is a World Cup soccer tournament sponsored and organized by five Ucodep, Caritas and the local administration of Montevarchi with the aim of promoting the spirit of aggregrazione between the different cultures present in the valley as well as to support the project "Children for South Africa" . In this project Ucodep work in support of the local "Loaves and Fishes Network", whose main purpose is to respond to the needs of children in the province of Eastern Cape, often with povertà, violenza e HIV/AIDS. Il torneo si svolgerà durante la settimana dal 21 al 27 giugno presso i campi sportivi del centro pastorale del Giglio di Montevarchi. Le iscrizioni, a offerta libera, si sono chiuse ieri durante la serata. Erano presenti più di sessanta invitati provenienti da quattro comunità (albanese, romena, italiana e dominicana), le donne delle comunità straniere e il Gt Valdarno hanno cucinato, i piatti sono stati melanzane ripiene (Albania), involtini di cavolo (Romania), panzanella e lesso rifatto con cipolle (Italia), riso con fagioli e riso con polpette (Repubblica Dominicana).
Un ringraziamento particolare a i ragazzi del Gt Valdarno e a tutti volontari che hanno contribuito alla cena, alle comunità straniere che hanno partecipato, ad Elisabetta, Daniele Ferri, Anna Braccini per l'organizzazione dell'evento,alla Coop e alla Caritas di Montevarchi.
