Law 40/2010 provides for the suspension of the check to the annuity regional directors who leave the office or are part of the Regional Council are appointed as members of the Regional Council of Abruzzo, or elected to the Italian or European parliaments, or the Council or the Regional Government of another region.
This Act proposed to extend the suspension of the check if the annuity holder is appointed President, Vice President or member of the boards or statutory or constituent of the supervisory board, or the Director General of Public Employees by Region, consortia, agencies or regional companies.
To avoid that they may have a double benefit, first as a pension for his work in the Regional Council, the second as a reward for his new position, then the annuity is suspended until the end of the charge.
This would enable the Abruzzo region in this case to obtain a financial savings.
